Computing Service
The research in the IBENS and the biology department requires significant computing power and storage capacity. The service therefore has the following missions :
- Ensure optimal data handling, storage and transmission as well as email, web publication and backups
- Provide support to users for productivity and scientific applications (over 800 workstations)
- Provide expert advice for the development of specific solutions (e.g., clusters) and, if required, manage their installation
- Develop applications for internal scientific and administrative use
