Accès au laboratoire

Our laboratory is located in the Biology Department of the Ecole Normale Superieure. This department includes about 30 independent teams, which represent roughly 400 people. Students and researchers are coming from Europe and other continents, thus providing a rich and stimulating international environment. Teams are affiliated with four research programs : Genetics, Development, Neurosciences, Plant biology and Ecology. The department provides state-of-the-art facilities : imaging (confocal microscopy, two-photon microscopy, electron microscopy), genomics including DNA-chip technologies and mouse knock-out gene facility. The Ecole Normale Superieure is a prestigious multidisciplinary school, which enables collaborations with other departments such as Physics and Mathemathics. It is located in an area with an exceptional density of research centers such as the Curie Institute, the Ecole Supérieure de Physique Chimie Industrielles (ESPCI), the Institut de Biologie Physico-Chimique (IBPC) and the Collège de France. This environment promotes the dissemination of scientific information and fosters collaborations. Also, the Ecole Normale Superieure is located in a very lively area in the historical center of Paris which provides a unique working environment.
