Research

I am a dry-lab Research Associate (CR2) at INSERM working on the evolution of mammalian genomes, with a particular interest in the human genome. My research centers around the evolution of the gene expression and gene regulation : I am particularly interested in the balance between functional conservation and mutational change, the dynamic turnover of regulatory sequences, the mutational burden of local activity in the genome, and evolutionary innovations in different mammalian lineages.
